Hey hey, its a nice Sunday afternoon and i'm uni. How nice can that be? Well, i'm not actually here for assignments or anything, but came here for fun. I'd nothing to do at home, and since Gerby said she's coming to uni, i though, may as well, ah what the heck. Actually i've stuff to do, 2 assignments due friday, and one of em i needa submit my draft to my members by monday, which is tomorrow. I'll probably start on it tonite, or even tomorrow. Anyway...the purpose of this is to voice something that i really can't stand this semester. Actually i've thought of this stuff last semester, but its gotten damn bad this semester. In general, this topic might really offend quite a number of ppl, but i just feel like saying it out.

But before that, i wanna correct my mistake saying that F.I.R. (stands for Fairyland in Reality)consist of a 3 girl band. They actually consist of 2 guys and a girl. The guys mainly plays instruments and the girl is the lead vocalist. Get more information from their website here! Now for today's topic...

*I've rewritten part of this blog because i think that what i've written is actually damn sensitive and inconsiderate. Therefore i've change the contents of this blog into an discussion instead of an accused topic and prevent stuffs from getting outta hand.*

Its just an discussion on prioritisation of assignments. Its like some assignments that were given to students are just too important to be ignored and needs full attention. There's this case bout students trying to get less work from this particular assignment to focus on the other assignment that they think is more important. Well i've observed that this happens alot. Its just like they put too much weightage on that particular assignment and sorta like expects to do less in this assignment. Much like an avoidance. There's even one case that he emphasized so much on 1 assignment, and he asks his members to work on the other assignment without him. Do you see the problem there? In the end, they all had to make the unecessary rush when the due date was near. Is it all bout making the equal contribution among all the assignments given to you? Although there should be an understanding that some students just come across certain assignments that require alot of attention, but does that means neglecting other assignments as well right? Its just like some of my frens. They take a different course, which involves more programming subjects compared to mine, and everybody knows programming is hell. There are just cases where some students needa hand up more assignments during the weekend compared to some who don't have the similar workload. Maybe i dont experience the type of situation these students go through, mainly because my assignments involves more in reporting and less brain straining work, or just maybe i take my assignments too easily and work on a last minute basis. But as long as you handle yr prioritisation right, there shouldnt be a problem rite?

Thats just my assumption. I apologise should i offend any of you readers out there who think's i'm not understanding enough or just inconsiderate. Thats just what i think from what i observe during this semester in some groups that i know. I'm not particularly affect by this situation, well not that bad anyway, and i just pity some who is badly affected by them. To me, some just goes like 'Well i've plenty of assignments to do this week, and i'm not at all free, like 3-4 assignments due this week, but if you want me to do it, yeah...i'll do it'....So just exactly what are you implying? Maybe its some ppl who thinks highly of other assignments because its far more difficult compared to the latter. Worst cases would be they expect work to be done so that they can the benefit out of that assignment and focus on the other 'more important' assignments. And would you be more understanding if those ppl are working? like they have to work and cant make it for meetings and stuff like that. Because there are situations where students say they cant make it for one of those meetings and not free from then on, because they have their own meetings on other assignments and cant make way for this assignment. So..what would you do? I consider myself lucky because my team is quite responsive when it comes to emails, the alternative in having a meeting. But to those who just dun give a damn bout it and focus on other assignments, how would you react? Tell them off 'May as well FAIL this assignment???' To those students that are affected by this problem..they just accept fate and continue on with the assignment...Is it actually correct to do that? Can you rate them as very understanding or just plain stupid? Some just dont voice their opinion and stay quiet, accepting their role as the main contributor. But to those who voices their opinion and get into other ppl's nerve, they are then branded inconsiderate and receive some critism in the future by those who thinks they are going through a tough period and should be understanding. Is that fair? If thats what u'll experience within university, is that gonna be the same in the working society? I'm assuming the otherwise. Mainly because in the working environment, ppl are focused on working on a particular subject, although it involves plenty of other smaller stuffs. In university however, because students experience up to 4 subject at once, where they'll learn a variety of topics, they tend to divide their work and sometimes neglecting those they think is unecessary and unimportant.

Hanz think that i'm just being a wise ass and commenting on stuff that i dont experience. Hmmmmmm....Anyway i would like to apologise again should any of these comments offend you. Its just one of those thought that i feel like saying. Now, i'm prepared for a barrage of critism coming my way with this discussion.....

In the end...Hanz, Gerby and myself went to Pancake House to have some pancakes, with topics of furthering yr studies and parenthood came into discussion. WTF???
