Cheesy Dinner

Another interesting post for today. Went to Sunny Bank just now for dinner. Rox skipped work today to study apparently. Mi Fan (米饭) again...Wanted to go to some western food place but not open till tomorrow. Here's what we had.

Fortitute Valley

Woke up an hour ago from a nights out at Fortitute Valley a.k.a. China Town or The Valley. First Daph told me to wear not so smart because the place we're going to only allows ppl with casual dress in. Meaning leather shoes and button'ed shirts are a no no. Its called Birdie Num Num. First we went to this place under the Story Bridge. Decided to pop in and have a drink.


This place is called Story Bridge Place. I kinda forgotten its name but its exactly underneath Story Bridge. Whole lotta corporate ppl there. Middle age women getting their attention noted for matured looking men. Not for youngsters like us. Into the next destination. The Valley.


First we went to the Elephant Wheelbarrel. Another old folk's place. So many middle aged ppl. Apparently there was a live band. Some unknown band playing all kinds of music. The thing that caught my attention was Fox Sport Live showing Birmingham vs. Crystal Palace. 0-1. Oh there was this lady who required the assistance of an ambulance. She broke her leg or something. Kirk said she danced too much. LOL.


This is the band. Nothing impressive. Too noisy and too crowded. Can't enjoy the music and dancing and atmosphere. Went back and watch Manchester United vs. Portsmouth. Just after kick off.


Had Smirnoff Double Black. Vodka with soda. Nice. 8aud. Initially had Jim Beam with cola. Don't like it. I don't understand how did I like it months ago. Maybe my taste buds changed. Felt like puking after drinking that. Smirnoff changed everything.


Then made a move to Birdie Num Num. Never went in. Queue was long and Daph's friend Irena was already making their way to another place.


So went to GPO instead. But couldn't go in. Issac was without his ID and Kirk worn like...too casual. Damn hate those dress codes for pubs.


I had to take a piss, so went in and snapped a pic of inside. I remember this was the first pub that I went in months ago with Hanz and his housemate. After that was hmmmmmmmm...


Then went looking for QA hotel. Apparently Kirk knows somebody there but couldnt find it, so we went back to RG. Couldn't get in again. So went next door. *sigh*


Everywhere was so packed with everyone. There's even ppl spilling beer all over the place. Esp those drunkards. It stinked. Hate that place. Then there was ppl fighting. Inside however was a different story. Everyone is grub'in and smooch'in and licking all over the place.

Then Kirk went back to change so that we could enter RG. It was 2am already. We all thought it was unecessary. But he insisted. So we chatted and danced a lil. Bored. I grabbed a 3bucks pizza just opposite to fill my stomach. Still bored. So took some pics.

2.45. We are in RG. Finally some music that we can dance. People fighting inside again. Don't understand them at all. Blackburn vs. Liverpool was live. Emerton just scored on the 45th minute. 2-1. Danced abit. Decided not to have any drinks already. Have too much gas in my stomach. And Daph ordered this rum coke thingy. Eww...Then they showed highlights of the Portsmouth vs. Manchester United game. Man U down 1-0. Back to Liverpool. 54th minute Baros scored thanks to a Blackburn player's error. Then it was near 4. I decided to call it a night. With byes and hugs and hand-shakes all exchanged, I grabbed a pizza (again...) on my way out and made my way to the taxi stand.


Just look at the ppl queue'in up. Took me almost 1/2 an hour to queue and grab a cab. Everyone was just....ahhh. Oh there was plenty of chicks all waiting for taxis. All wonderfully dressed. Just looking at them and 30minutes was just like 3minutes. All so sexy... Then my turn for a cab and made my way home...ZZZzzzz....

Weird night out. I think I better start studying already. Hmm Kien just said he's coming on the 20th. Gotta make plans for that as well. Thats it....

From Nothing'ness to Something'ness

Nothing happened today. But ME...I slept like there's no tomorrow. Take today for example. Woke up at 3pm from a 12 hours sleep. Then walk around the house and watched a few movies. Cooked the peking wrap chicken thingy for lunch..at er 5pm. Taste okay, not enough marination. 1 more piece left in the fridge now. Its gonna lay eggs. Then 8pm sleep again. Woke up bout 3 hours ago. Thought Gerby cooked dinner already. Mana tau apa pun tadak. So heated yesterday..or was it yesterday? yeah it was yesterday's leftover from the seafood that we had. OMG SEAFOOD! Hope my ear is not infected. Then decided to clean my room after watching Naruto 106. The side story has finally ended. Now the it will return to the storyline of the manga where Sasuke will venture into darkness. Can't wait. Anyway since I've nothing better to do, like somebody said to me...I added pics of my room, before and after cleaning. Just to prepare myself to the exams almost 2 weeks later. 4 papers within a week. Just the way I like it. Hope I can get some information writting inside my brain database. Else I'll be screwed. Just spoke to somebody is really unhappy nowadays. Hope she gets better. Then reminded me of another somebody who had troubles almost a week earlier. Hope she got better already.

Just finish watching Amazing Race. Initially it was a 2-hour program, but today was only 1 hour. Anyway the military father and his daughter came in last and was eliminated. I thought those tears at the end was unecessary. Anyway thats what capture the audiences.

Watched Resident Evil:Apocalypse yesterday. Although the storyline began to drift away from the game, I thought it was awesome. Maybe because the sound effects were great, or just seeing ppl get scared gave me the entertainment. Well now...the movie was fantastic. Highly recommended. One of the greatest i've seen this year apart from Troy and The Day After Tomorrow. Jill Valentine was SEXY!!!! (Her name in real life? kinda forgotten...)

Went to Stones Corner with Rox driving us there. I only realised we were going there the moment i woke up. So if I slept a lil longer...I would've missed everything...First I bought almost 100aud on 8 shirts. OMG! Never expected to buy so much. And it was Gerby's idea to shop...not mine....

That fella kept giving all kinds of excuse saying that it is not in stock. And now i got it. Guess wart? FREE! LOL. Its a long long story. Don't wanna boast about it. After cops come knocking on mua door.....Thats the end of story. HEY! I know watcha thinking...IT WASN'T ILLEGAL! No...don't let yr thoughts spread into that area. Its totally legal...


Then had to treat Gerby and NgaiYung for dinner with the 'unspent' money. Its against the law not to. Well my law that is...

Anyway the past few days was filled with birthday dinners. First Gerby's steamboat and then Jane's BBQ...

Thats what we got her..erm...not yet... She still haven participated in the 'Buy-your-own-present' Day la. So...This is just to fool ppl. Oh ya, don't ask me where am I looking. There was just too many cameras and flashes. I had to look somewhere...


Someone told me bout this skill in taking pictures. Apparently putting 2 fingers between the lens and taking a photo with borders is something artful. Maybe I just don't know how to appreciate art. Btw Joe was the model.

But the impact was so great that the innocent me got splattered as well...Mr Tang ah...
